en-CA This series of 14 paintings is part of a personal journey revisiting and reconnecting with the past while assigning new meanings to the colours of the old associated memories.

en-CA Artist's notes: "The whole area had this unique smell, especially in the summer -- like an old place of worship with decades of burnt candles and lots of bats in the belfry."

en-CA The creator of this work was a resident of Niagara Falls & currently resides in Toronto.
