en-CA This series of 14 paintings is part of a personal journey revisiting and reconnecting with the past while assigning new meanings to the colours of the old associated memories.

en-CA Artist's notes: "We found a stand of wild pear trees growing from the rubble on the hill against the tracks. Maybe it was the Creosote that made the pears taste exceptionally good."

en-CA The creator of this work was a resident of Niagara Falls & currently resides in Toronto.
