Mahoney, Buffalo, NY ; Research by George Seibel ; While the second Maid of the Mist plied the waters of the Niagara River, the row boat ferries still operated. Passengers were carried across the River for 20 cents - after landing they had to get their own baggage up the cliff by means of the Incline Railway ;
