Grace Sunstrum founded the Ladies Auxiliary of the Greater Niagara Baseball Association (GNBA), in 1961.
The fundamental role of the auxiliary was to raise funds to assist the GNBA in meeting the leagues' financial obligations and to enable the league to maintain a high standard in the sport of baseball.
During the first three years of the GNBA Ladies Auxiliary, Grace served as president and remained a tireless contributor for more that thirty years.
Grace's energetic dedication to minor baseball, the success of the auxiliary and the GNBA brought great satisfaction and happiness to her life.
Grace Sunstrum's place on the Niagara Falls Sports Wall of Fame is well deserved. - Subject
