Jeff Lounsbury has been the Head Baseball Coach at Brock University for 20 years. During his time with the Badgers, Lounsbury has coached the team to two Canadian Intercollegiate Baseball National Championships (1998, 1999), four Ontario University Championships ( 2002, 2004, 2010, and 2014), and has been the OUA coach of the year three times (2005, 2012, 2014). He has greatly influenced many athletes' lives, from Badgers athletes to his time coaching players with the Niagara District Youth Team, Niagara Falls Midget ‘A’ All-Stars, Welland Renegades, Intercounty Baseball Teams (IBL) - Hamilton Cardinals, Hamilton Thunderbirds and Burlington Bandits. Lounsbury has also acted as an instructor at the Canadian Baseball Academy, Can-Am Instructional Clinic and in the Toronto Blue Jays Coaching Development Program. In 2003, Lounsbury was named an Assistant Coach to the Canadian Student National Team which competed in the FISU Baseball Championships held in Taiwan. Throughout his career at Brock, Jeff Lounsbury has achieved what no other coach has achieved. In 2015, Lounsbury earned his 500th career win at Brock and is the OUA's most winning-est coach. Jeff Lounsbury has been a driving force for baseball in the Niagara Region and continues to influence many athletes' lives.
