Bob Chamberlain’s passion for the game of hockey began over 60 years ago; his devotion to hockey was so overwhelming that in 1968, Bob started coaching. From that day forward, he never questioned his decision to take on this challenge. Bob enjoyed being able to perform as a coach alongside his friends and peers in Niagara Falls, where he was born and raised.
Bob’s dedication to the sport of hockey and his passion for children were unmeasurable, which combined to develop the qualities of becoming an excellent coach. Over the years, Bob’s coaching standards elevated his status to one of Minor Hockey’s best. Bob’s teaching skills influenced countless players, many of whom would reach their dreams of playing professionally in the N.H.L., Olympics and World Championships.
Bob led his Niagara Falls ‘AAA’ Atom Team to an Ontario Minor Hockey Association (OMHA) Provincial Championship in 1977 and two ‘AAA’ Atom Invitational Tournaments in the 2003 season. Bob has shared his dedication and knowledge of hockey through coaching and as a volunteer on the Niagara Falls Minor Hockey Executive for over 45 years. The many achievements Bob has accomplished through hockey are noteworthy and he has set a splendid example for future coaches of the game to follow.
