The skating season of 2004 - 2005 proved to be the crowning glory for a team of synchronized skaters who have been together for the last five years. With a placement at the Canadian Championships in 2004, the Vibe Junior Competitive Synchronized Skating Team was awarded an International assignment by Skate Canada. They were invited to compete at the Spring Cup in Milan, Italy, where they came away with their first International Gold Medal competing against teams from seven countries around the world. This team also competed internationally in 2004, in Rouen, France and came home with a bronze medal. The team worked extremely hard to advance in the sport of Synchronized Skating and have several domestic medals for their efforts. Two international medals in this sport have been an accomplishment by this determined team. Skaters of all disciplines dream of this type of accomplishment. The Vibe Junior Competitive Synchronized Skating Team devote six to eight hours per week on-ice training and two hours training off-ice. The dedication of early morning practises developed into a commitment to succeed with the girls at an early age and it paid off with gaining National Team status with Skate Canada. This past year, the team performed two wonderful programs under the leadership of Coach Trish Perdue Mills, who has dedicated her life to the sport of Synchronized Skating. We are proud to induct the Vibe Junior Competitive Synchronized Skating Team to the Niagara Falls Sports Wall of Fame ;
