Nov 25,1831; 1st wife: Elizabeth Kline [Klein] (m. 1785); 2nd wife: Elizabeth Witzel [Wetzell] (m. 1790); father of John, Catherine Crouse and Elizabeth Miller (all by 1st wife Elizabeth Kline) as well as of Duncan, Nancy Ryckman, Archilbald, Daniel, William and Peter (by 2nd wife Elizabeth Witzel); brother of Donald Ruadh MacCrimmon; 1772 emigrated to America (Anson County, North Carolina); ca 1776 joined 1st Battalion of 84th Regiment of Foot (Royal Highland Emigrants) as scout; 1784 loyalist land grant in Fifth Township, Bay of Quinte; 1822 sold all his holdings in Prince Edward County and purchased land in Binbrook Township;
