en-CA born and educated in Paris, France; d. 1813 (Niagara); buried St. Mark's cemetery; left France for England; came to Canada with General Wolfe; husband of Margaret Kleine (m. 1780); father of Elizabeth House, Rainet Secord, Margaret Davis, Catharine Servos, George Rousseaux and Joseph Brant Rousseaux; appointed interpreter to the Indians; after 1780 resided in Ancaster; ca. 1793 built grist mill for local farmers;
