Nelles of Grimsby; father of 5 sons and 4 daughters by 1st wife and 3 daughters and 2 sons by 2nd wife; father died in 1820; mother died 1835; brother to 7 siblings; 1792 immigrated to Grimsby, Canada with mother and 7 siblings; studied medicine in Beamsville with Dr. Sumner and during war 1812-14 with Dr. Kerr; also found in microfilm reel # 2, pg. 88
