Welland Ship Canal

On back of postcard 'The Welland Ship Canal This busy waterway runs between Port Weller, Ontario, on Lake Ontario, and Port Colborne, Ontario on Lake Erie and is 27.6 miles long. The new canal, opened in 1932, consists of eight locks, allowing for the 326-foot rise from Lake Ontario to Lake Erie.
