- en-CA The ornamental chair used by the mayor was in use for many years. In the late 1940's a fuss was made during one meeting over it's condition and George Seibel arranged to have it refinished and re-upholstered before the next Council meeting. The bill was sent to the city and the money was donated to the Winninpeg Flood Relief fund. ;
