Photographs were taken by Fred Helie, a worker on the project sometime between 1950 - 1958

en-CA Beautiful Dufferin Islands. Across this waterway which encircles these islands, we had to build a bridge to allow our trucks and equipment to get to the islands as we had 2 10" downpipes through which we drop concrete to the tunnel below. These downpipe were kept as much as possible to 400 ft apart
