Photographs were taken by Fred Helie, a worker on the project sometime between 1950 - 1958

en-CA 10 inch steel pipe which was lowered from surface above. These were random lengths of 20 to 30 feet and were welded to one another as they were lowered into the hole. A cushion-aire pot was set under it, and through this the concrete ejected into the hopper. From hopper concrete was dropped into pumpcrete machine or invert tank gantry
