en-CA Mowat Gate entrance to Queen Victoria Park at the junction of Falls Avenue and Clifton Hill which dates back to the opening of the park in 1888, named in honour of Sir Oliver Mowat by whose efforts the park came into existence. Gate was made of cedar.
