Description
en-CA The International Joint Commission of the United States & Canada is currently engaged in a study of the American Channel of Niagara Falls. The channel will be dry during the summer and fall of 1969. This study is to determine what measures, if any, would be required to preserve and enhance the scenic beauty of the American Falls. No actual work to clear away talus or reinforce the cliff will be done at this time. Pictured here are the Falls in its natural condition and dewatered.
