The coaching staff of Clive Newson, Mac Lewis and Ron Webb brought years of valuable coaching experience as well as their own personal experience in playing the game. Their relentless approach in preparing these young men helped instill a winning attitude which prepared them to become the first team in Niagara Falls to win the Ontario Amateur Softball Association Championships (O.A.S.A.), bringing Niagara Falls the Gold Medal. Four players from the team advanced to represent Ontario in the 1993 Canada Summer Games hosted in Kamloops, British Columbia: Phil Boyer, Jamie McCloy, Shane Newson and Jason Vormittag.
