- en-CA Plaque, with the Miller's Creek Marina and the Upper Niagara River in the background : Marina. Three different companies built many ships on this site during the years 1904 to 1930. At this shipyard, known locally as the “Bridgeburg Shipyard”, four ocean cargo boats such as “War Magic” and “War Vixen” were built in 1917-1919. In 1965 the Niagara Parks Commission began construction of this marina.
