Maple Leaf Rubber factory situated on the banks of the Welland Canal at Port Dalhousie ;the building comprises two separate buildings ; the building in the background is red brick, four stories high with many windows ; there is a cupola type structure on top of the flat roof ;a flag is flying from the flagpole on top of the cupola ; the red brick building in the foreground is also four stories high but much smaller than the other one ; the building has a sign " Maple Leaf Rubber Co" running between windows on the second and third floor ; the Canal runs in front of the buildings ; houses can be seen in the background left ;
