Title
De Cew Falls, near Hamilton, Canada
Description
en-CA Although the title of the post card claims De Cew Falls to be near to Hamilton, this is an exaggeration. The Falls are actually much closer to St Catharines in the Niagara area . It was near De Cew Falls where, during the War of 1812 Laura Secord warned the British that the "Americans were coming!"
en-CA Card was mailed in Hamilton, Ontario May 8 1910 to Miss Clara Weaver, PO Hannon, Glanford, Ontarion ; message reads "Hello, this is a fine day in town don't you wish you were here today. How is every body. Suppose you are all busy these days. Mind you don't do to much. Where do you go to church, to the Trinity and some of the others perhaps. I have not seen you down the mountain church for some time. From some friend" ;
