This was a popular spot for picnics until 1971 when the shelters were burnt by vandals. These were the last of the rustic shelters which used to be located at the Glen.

This Pothole was formed in the ancient Niagara River Bed, now Wintergreen Flats. Later the rock layers around it were undercut causing it to fall to the terrace below.
