Francis J. Petrie was for many years the City Historian of Niagara Falls, as well as the author of a regular newspaper column in the Niagara Falls Review.
After his death many of his photographs, negatives, slides, and postcards were donated to the Library.

Vehicle travelled on Railway Tracks and is being moved off the tracks after a crash during the test run from Hamilton ; vehicle has Michigan License Plates ;
- built in 1928, on the site of the " Crysler Homestead ", formally opened on Thursday February 14, 1929 and was demolished from Oct. / Nov. 1971 - Jan. 1972
