Solution channel in sectioned limestone block
item
- Title
- Solution channel in sectioned limestone block
- Description
- en-CA Here we have a minature example of how most caves are formed. Small deposits of salt or other solutions gradually erode away a path in rock, creating a channel in which that solution continues to flow. If left long enough, this solution channel would have eventually become an actual cave.
