- en-CA The Comet is a classic wooden roller coaster. Originally built in 1927 as the Cyclone at Crystal Beach Amusement Park, it was redesigned in 1946 by Herb Schmeck of PTC. It was re-erected at The Great Escape Fun Park in New York in 1994 where it operates today. ;
