- en-CA 5827 - the middle house in the picture was the second to be constructed on this site. The first was burned during the War of 1812. This building constructed some time after the War was later used to house soldiers during the Rebellion of 1837. Later it became the family home of Doctor James McGarry ; 5837 - the house on the left in the photograph was originally the Johnson Inn, built by Wareham Johnson before 1812 ;
