Description
en-CA Either Roy or Gordon Criger Filling a can with gas from the pump which stood in front of Criger's in 1925. The building with the hip roof behind the billboards is on the South side of Queen St., West of St. Lawrence. It was the natural ice rink which was used for public skating and hockey. It was destroyed by fire soon after 1925 and a new arena was built on Victoria Avenue with artificial ice.
