en-CA In 1911 at an International river carnival a small Curtis biplane was seen circling over and around Niagara Falls. The plane swooped under the Upper Steel Arch Bridge and skimmed over the lower bridges as it flew out of the Niagara Gorge. According to legend Lincoln Beachey received $1,000 for the feat ;
