en-CA From this angle, on board the Maid of the Mist, one can truly appreciate the intricate work involved in blasting off this once-jagged rock overhang. Unlike most views of the point, from the water one can see both sides of the formation. Note the mound of debris below the point still left over from the operation undertaken in 1983.
