en-CA died 1791 (Saltfleet Township); father of Mary Gage, Susannah Gage, Augustus, Ebenezer, Stephen, Philip, Peter, Joseph and David; of Welsh extraction; prior to Revolutionary War he was tenant farmer on Hudson River, N.Y.; Mar 1777 enrolled with The King's Orange Rangers; U.E.L. of Saltfleet Township (1789); Ebenezer and his family were Crown Patentee holders of nearly 600 acres in Saltfleet and adjacent townships;
