- en-CA From a watercolour, pencil on prepared ground 7 5/8 x 11 1/8 (194 x 283), in the Sigmund Samuel Collection, Royal Ontario Museum, Toronto #950.61.21 Inscribed I. I. Armstong; I. r. Decr. 8/56, or 59 send this to editor of I. L. News. Blind stamp of Armstrong, Beere & Hime, Photographers & Engineers, Toronto, C. W. on lower left. Farini crossed the gorge at the site illustrated on 5 Sept 1860 and 8 Aug 1864. Blondin's crossing took place further downstream on 30 June 1859 and 8 Sept 1860.
