- en-CA b. 1764 or 1766 (Ulster County, either NY State or PA); d. 1843; re-interred in St. John's Anglican Church Cemetery, Fort Erie; husband of Elizabeth Everett (m. 1790); father of Martha, John Burch, Peter, Henry, Elizabeth, Andrew, Benjamin, Jacob, Edward, Melinda Baxter and Eliza Haun; his original Loyalist family was killed by Indians; at age 14/ 15 yrs was taken prisoner to Fort Niagara; redeemed by John Burch and raised in Burch's family till 1790; June 1809 appointed Ensign in 3rd Regiment of Militia in District of Niagara under Lieut. Col. John Warren; kept a tavern at Miller's Creek; 1818-1820 1nd 1827 Town Warden;
