Hamilton; probably father of 2 daughters; son of Mary (nee Herkimer) and Robert Hamilton; brother of Peter Hunter Hamilton, John Hamilton and Mary Hamilton; received medical degree in Edinburgh, Scotland; practiced in London, England; 1935 returned to Queenston; ca. 1844 moved to Toronto where he practiced for Toronto Board of Health;
