Wilson), immigrating from Paisley, Scotland; married Margaret Wilson; fathered 5 children with 2nd wife; father of Ann Wilson, James McFarland and others; taken prisoner during war of 1812-14 and sent to Greenbush, N.Y.; His Majesty's Boat Builder; settler on Niagara River; grandfather of John McFarland Jr.;
