- en-CA The 1954 Battery Sport Shop Team won the Ontario Midget “A” Baseball Championship, bringing the successful season and a very long play-off schedule to an exciting conclusion. The team was required to win a five-game play-off series. Travelling to Fort Erie, Hamilton, Windsor, Barrie and Ottawa, the team won the entire series, losing only one game. This triumph was the beginning of five outstanding years of success, competing in Ontario play-offs each year and winning the Provincial title again in 1958 ;
