- en-CA On the 9th of September 1990 Peter Debernardi along with Wayne J Harris attempted to hang a Canadian flag from one of the Spanish AeroCar's cables, some 200 feet above the Whirlpool Rapids. He attached himself to the cable by means of a harness and pulley. He then planned to roll himself out to the midpoint of the cable, attach the flag, and then expected to be rescued by the cable car. He attempted the stunt in order to protest the Niagara Parks Commission which prohibits stunting in and around the Falls ; From the personal collection of George Bailey ; Image may not be reproduced without the written permission of George Bailey ;
