This room houses the library's collections on the history of the city, the river and the peninsula and was a gift from Eurnice, Lady Oakes, in memory of the late Sir harry Oakes. It is built of pine, custom crafted to reproduce a setting and furnishings of the Niagara area in the early 19th century.
