Title
Electric Power Plants, Niagara Falls(Reverse Side)
Description
en-CA Under an agreement between the United States and Canada, a certain amount of water power nature created at Niagara Falls is available for industrial use. Many branches of industries requiring electric power at low rates have sprung into existence and in comparatively short time developed into wonderful enterprises that at this time particularly become centres of industry of national importance. Scientific products needed in many lines of manufacture, especially in the metal industry which this country before largely imported, are now manufactured at Niagara Falls. The carborundum is one of the best known of these products. many electric railway lines in the vicinity of Niagara Falls are supplied with electricity from central stations at Niagara Falls. The city of Toronto, Canada, and most of the towns surrounding Niagara are supplied with electric light and power at low cost from Niagara Falls.
