With 2nd Lincoln Regiment; 1812 promoted to Capt.; 1816 purchased land from The Hon. Thomas Clark; Mason with Queenston Lodge; member of Church of Scotland; architect of the original plans for the second St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church, NOTL;
