Hodder, R.N.; graduated Royal College of Surgeons in England; afterward went to Paris and Edinburgh for further studies; practiced medicine in England and France before immigrating to Canada; practiced in Queenston for ca. 5 yrs and 1843 moved to Toronto; 1854 elected Fellow of the Y.C. of S. England; 1865 Fellow of the Obs. Soc. of London; 1845 degree of C.M. of King's College Toronto; 1853 M.D. of Trinity College; 1850 he established with Dr. Bovell the Upper Canada School of Medicine which that year became Medical Dept. of Trinity College; 1870 Dean of the Faculty; 1852-1872 Toronto General Hospital; Commodore of the Canadian Yacht Club; president of the Upper Canada Medical Board; 1862 president of the Toronto Medico-Chirurgical Society; 1875 president of Canada Medical Assoc.; 1872-78 representative of Trinity College at the College of Physicians and Surgeons; also found on microfilm reel # 2, pg. 11;
