en-CA Red Hill Jr., son of the famous riverman Red Hill Sr., died Sunday August 5 1951 attempting to go over the Horseshoe Falls in a flimsy contraption constructed of old inner tubes and netting. The barrel did not follow the course he had supposed it would and the stunt ended in tragedy ; his body was recovered August 6th ;
