This collection includes photographs of buildings (residential, commercical, industrial and public), streets (streetscenes), structures, businesses, stores, attractions and areas of Niagara Falls to reflect the look of the city in 2005.
Notes In the summer of 2005 Alina Rashid was hired as a summer student. The purpose was to photograph buildings and areas of Niagara Falls to relect the look of the city in 2005. The library holds the copyright on these photographs, which allows publishers, media, and authors access to reproductions without having to contact other institutions.
This was originally the residence of Samuel McKerlie, built after the family moved from their farm in another part of Stamford Township. Their only daughter married James Depew and they remained in the house until their deaths. The house was in 1977 home to the Stamford Masonic Temple ; Smarty Pants Educatinoal Toy store will be vacating these premises August 2005 ;
